What is a DEXA scan?
The most accurate way to measure body fat
DEXA uses low-dose X-rays to measure what your body is made of: fat, muscle and bone, region by region. You lie still on a padded table while the scanner passes over you.
It uses less radiation than a normal day of natural background exposure.

We're building software that estimates body fat from a few photos. To make it accurate for every body type, we compare its estimates with real DEXA scans. Your scan, measurements and face-blurred photos help calibrate it.
